“I am thrilled by the challenge of developing beautiful, functional, engaging and intelligent spaces. To be an architect is to engage with the full spectrum of human experience. Nothing that is imagined and represented can be realized without the engagement of many other people, so one must be capable of drawing commitment, application and desire from fellow team members.”

Jonathan is an experienced architect with a background of working across sectors, specializing in education for the past ten years. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Architects Registration Board, and has practiced extensively in the UK and Canada, within our firm.  His current role sees him leading the PNW Education Practice. Jonathan is adept at delivering projects within tight budgetary frameworks, formulating clear briefing strategies from diverse user requirements. This approach has enabled him to deliver high quality learning environments at Primary, Secondary, Post-Secondary and Higher Education levels.

Jonathan possesses excellent problem solving abilities, assisting clients through the maze of statutory and regulatory requirements while reducing risk. He aspires to deliver sustainable solutions where possible on all projects, helping to reduce environmental impact.  Jonathan is also passionate about learning and is a skilled educator. He spent six years as a part-time lecturer at the University of Portsmouth teaching a variety of studio architecture courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
