Olivier Mabiala
“Cultural strength and pride lies in the walls of the buildings that shape our lives. My passion for architecture stems from my aspiration to help marginalized communities to remember who they are.”
Born and raised in the Republic of Congo, Olivier is a thoughtful designer who believes in the power of creative, inclusive, and sustainable design to promote connection and to retain a city’s identity. Having travelled across the world, he has gained an understanding on how cultures shape spaces. Olivier has worked on a variety of project types including workplace, hospitality, civic, and mixed-use developments. He received his Bachelor in Studio Arts from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and his Master of Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle.
